Driver Force UK goes live
DriverForce UK is a driver recruitment agency providing temporary, contract and permanent LGV drivers in and around the Essex area.
The website designed and hosted by Enovate Design includes a content management system to allow DriverForce staff to add, edit and remove pages from the site quickly and easily. By utilising an open source content management system we were able to deliver the entire project at a much reduced cost compared to a commercial content management system with similar functionality.
The content management system itself required some additional modules to meet the brief supplied by Driver Force. This was twofold; one requirement being that DriverForce should be able to easily update a rolling driver availability table. Secondly, and also most importantly the website should display their internal "key measures" in an attractive and informative way. We achieved this by created a bespoke content management module to facilitate the data entry and output to an XML file which is then fed into a Flash file on the website and presented in a series of animated graphs. These can be hidden from view if the user so desires.
